School Culture

I would say at both of my schools, especially Cleveland, the teams that I was with have heavily relied on one another. The whole staff at Cleveland was a very tight-knit group, but I believe due to how large Prairie Creek is, it makes it a bit harder to be that close as a whole school. At Prairie, there are Pods, and within those Pods, I would say they have a culture of helping one another and ensuring that all students are able to succeed.

I have been able to see at both of my placements the importance of recognizing the needs of each individual student and doing all that you can to see them have success.

  2. I also agree with that team support being great! When I was at my first placement that is the only time I have ever worked with a team like that and that culture was different then everything else I have been involved with and it was a really good experience.

  3. Creating relationships with a team and supporting each other makes teaching so much easier! It also shows the students a unified front when it comes to their teachers.
