What type/size of school are you interested in applying to for next year?
To be honest, I do not know the type/size of school that I would want to teach in at this point. I will be moving to an entirely new state/area once this semester is over and planning to sub for awhile to get the layout of the area and learn the districts in that area and then make a decision on exactly what my plan will be going forward.
Since I also have a degree in HR, that is still something I also have interest in at this point, and I am just considering all my options professionally.
No matter what route you choose (whether its HR or education), your experience in both will give you a boost in your career path! Subbing around in the different districts will be a great way to get a vibe for the culture and community there, also to help to see what you are looking for in a potential employer.
ReplyDeleteSubbing is always a great way to see many different schools as you move into a new area and you will be able to find a school you will want to be part of that culture.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree on not knowing! Subbing is the best option next quarter for me at the moment I think also but it will all work out one way or another!
